Elf
The oldest Elven origin story tells that they were mere Spheris before beings from the Feralyth crossed over into the Amalgamate Plane and taught them their way of life. Afterwards they stayed and settled together, having offspring that grew into the Elves. Though this is just one of many to explain the large difference in culture between the Elves and their surrounding races.
