The Abbey of St Markovia

The Abbey of St Markovia is a location in Krezk, run by the Abbot and inhabited by the لنغمات.   Founded by Saint Markovia, the abbey was allegedly a holy place, but has fallen into a different state under the Abbot's guidance. It is about a 15-minute walk up the mountain from Krezk, and has a garden as well as a graveyard. Some adventurers have been keen to point out its abundance of high cliffs off which various constructs might be thrown.   When our heroes first went to the abbey, they found Ezmerelda d'Avenir there; it seemed she had been there for some time already, having holed up in an old room on the second floor of the abbey's east wing.

Key Locations

Barracks

The room Ezmerelda took as her own while there, with the mouldering beds being propped against the walls to block the windows and door.

Clovin's Room

Where Ismark recuperated following his resurrection under Sylvain's guard. Seems to be some sort of workshop for the Abbot as well, judging by the creepy body parts under the shroud on the table.

The Corridor

This long, dark corridor in the east wing of the abbey seems to contain several cells packed full of لنغمات living in squalor.

Courtyard

This yard features several repurposed closed chicken coops containing various لنغمات. There is also a well, in which something seemed to be living, and a single الهجين chained to a post.

Gardens

This is where our heroes fought the wight guardians to obtain the Symbol of Ravenkind of Ravenkind — the first of Madam Eva's prophecies fulfilled.

Main Hall

This spacious hall seems to be where the Abbot spends most of his time, and where he trains his وعاء in preparation for her betrothal to Strahd von Zarovich. It is also where he performs resurrections, and where our heroes spent the bulk of their time while in Krezk.   Wine Cellar The cellar contains various sacks of grain and similar supplies for feeding the لنغمات, along with a surprisingly generous amount of wine. It is here that Sylvain found an empty bottle containing a spell scroll of Heroes' Feast.
