The Raven Queen
The Raven Queen is a frequently maligned, chronically misunderstood deity. Rumoured to have once been a great elven queen beloved by her people, her name and memory were torn from reality when she got on the wrong side of the gods, but she has clung to her immortality in The Shadowfell.
Bodaway confessed an affinity for the Raven Queen when speaking to Headmistress Claudia Belasco at St. Andral's Orphanage in Vallaki, and later that day, following his brush with death at St. Andral's resident demon, he prayed to her, receiving a troubling vision of a half-elf from long ago in return.
That evening, while recuperating from another brush with death, Bodaway received another vision from her in a dream, of a different half-elf. Since then, he's had many more visions — some of the distant past, and some much more recent.
What these visions mean, and what motivation the Raven Queen has in offering them, remains to be seen.
