Conflict in Saskhij between forces of law and freedom brought about with the formation of Andreus' Skymarch and crusade across the continent. Andreus fell to a dart on the field of Pencar.

Andreus was a god of human culture, innovation, and history. An important prophecy known as the Ascendant Destiny suggested that he was to manifest in Saol, marking the beginning of a long-awaited Age of Glory. Andreus assembled his followers in Saol; he lead them on a crusade to Mediaregno. The Skymarch, as his assembled following became known, sent a clairion call to all Human and law-loving people to join them on a campaign to purge chaotic forces from Gradus.   Goblinoid, Elvish, and other Chaotic species resisted the spread of the Skymarch. Rom and Asien, coastal nations on Domum's Eastern coast, became vocal opponents of the surging human-centric cult. The Skymarch crushed bandit camps displaced tribal settlements and rallied for a common Human empire. The republic of Rom sponsored the formation of guerilla bands in the southern Mediaregno to harry the approach of the Skymarch. With the delaying action in place, Asien built a coalition against the theocracy of Andreus. Andreus was able to secure the aid of a troop of Archons in his crusade.   Desperate to balance the scales, cultists assembled in the southern Ironforge Mountains to summon a band of powerful beings to rival Skymarch's Archons. The ritual caused a great fissure in the mountains connected to the Abyssal Storm. Several packs of Demonic creatures spilled out of the fissure and across Gradus.   Opposition to the march grew, freedom-minded people of Medioregio formed a coalition army to meet the Skymarch on the Plain of Myrad. Instead, while the coalition army locked into battle with Andreus' Archons, the Skymarch assembled on Domum's eastern coast. The god of men gathered his power and summoned a persistent storm that pushed Rom and Asien into the sea. in the buffeting wind of Anatolí's Maw a primitive dart pierced into Andreus' underarm and through his heart. His body fell to the ground and his lifeblood soaked into the soil of the Field of Pencar.   Powerful entities from the Demongash ambushed the archons in the Myrnaz Forest. The Archons used the last of their strength to vanquish the demons and had to return to Celestia.   Enáretae, the goddess of justice and righteousness took on many of Andreus’ followers and legacy, becoming known as the Inheritor.
