Dorwin (Capital)

The Capital of Dorwin, a city by the same name. Dorwin is an old city, with streets made of cobbles and buildings with white washed wooden walls and tiled roofs. The King of Dorwin lives in a large manor instead of a castle, and walks around the city daily to commune with his people.

Government

Dorwin is ruled by a patriarchal monarchy, with the eldest son of the King inheriting the throne. The current ruler is he majesty, King Lionel Montevest II.

Defences

Dorwin has a small force of Soldiers, centered primarily around the capital. They will march out periodically to protect the roads and fields. In addition, there is a civilian guard that protects the peasants of the city, and the other two cities of the Isle.

Infrastructure

Dorwin has a well laid out system of cobblestone roads, running through all the streets of the city. In addition, they have a well maintained system of sewers which carry refuse outside the city walls. Running water from a reservoir is available at the King's Manor and at various water fountains around the city.

History

The Capital city of Dorwin was created by Dorwin during the recovery from the Sundering. It was built on a shelf of solid bedrock, giving stability that was much desired after the chaos.
