Isle of Dorwin

Dorwin is a large agrarian Isle, with several small cities and a dozen small farming communities surrounding them.

History

Dorwin was named after Ser Regis Dorwin, who aided the survivors of the Sundering to organize and prosper. He had been a noble of a kingdom prior to the Sundering. After being contacted by the Mages of Thellos Academy, the Kingdom of Dorwin became fast friends with the Kingdom of Camsdale.

Geography

The Isle of Dorwin is blessed with wide rolling pastures and numerous natural aquafers. Its pastures provide excellent farmland, regardless of the tended crop.

Natural Resources

Recently, a discovery in Hilltop, a town to the north, revealed an easily mineable skystone deposit that threatens to bring industry to Dorwin.

Economy

Dorwin frequently uses barter as a method of trade within its borders, as it is primarily an agrarian society. With the recent boomtown expansion around Hilltop, however, has come an influx of Baramore Merchant coin and Camsdale Gold crown.
