Elemental Regions

The boundaries between the Material Realm and the Elemental Planes were shattered during the Sundering. The Elemental Planes bled into the material realm, each at different elevations, forming the Elemental Regions. They are shown below, in order from highest to lowest elevation.

Region of Water
Region of Fire
Region of Void

Elemental Rifts

In addition to the Regions, there are Rifts that open on Isles occasionally, allowing elemental energy as well as monsters in from those regions. These rifts also provide much needed water to parched isles.
