Matriarch's Plaza

The Matriarch’s Plaza is a tremendous bazaar. The Plaza is open every day from Enlighting to Darkfall. Some shops choose not to open on particular religious days, but the plaza itself is open every day.

Architecture

The Plaza is a large open stone area. Shops and stalls line the outside of the Plaza, and stands and wagons can claim space within the center to set up and sell their wares.

History

The Matriarch's Plaza was constructed under the orders of Matriarch Gerwin, over 400 years ago. It was constructed to replace an aging Trade Area that was converted to livingspace after the Sundering.

Notable Shops

Asiz' Weapon Emporium Asiz is a skilled merchant who hails from a Baramore House.  He came to Camsdale to serve the thriving market for weapons, and has made a successful business buying goods from Baramore and bringing them to Camsdale to sell.
The Well-Protected Gentleman The Well-Protected Gentleman is a high-quality (read Expensive) armor shop, where even the leather armors are decorated with elaborate stitching and molding.  It is frequented by those Lords or Gentleman who require armor, usually for use in ceremony or parade ground maneuvers.
Kalenhad's Distinquished Goods Kalenhad's (run by a game named Leonard) sells a variety of goods.  He will have tents, dresses, stuff to build a house, and furs.  Just about anything you need, he will have.  The only exception being weapons, because of a deal with Aziz.
Quality Trade Quality Trade is a vendor that re-sells goods that are purchased from Customers.  Quality has good merchandise, but is of considerably lower quality than some of the other vendors in the Plaza.
