Tsimette
Bipedal mammalians with a "spherical" sort of body type. Three pairs of arms: left side, right side, and chest. Arms arranged vertically. The pair of arms on a Tsimette's chest are double-jointed at the elbow and wrist.
TSIMETTE TRAVELLER STATS +1 DEX +1 SOC -1 STR Enhanced Dexterity: When holding two weapons in their forward facing set of arms, Tsimette do not suffer penalties for aiming distance or multiple weapons. Dexterity checks involving their full three sets of arms are at DM+1. A check only made with one set of arms other than the forward set is at DM-1. CAREERS: Suitable for many careers, but tend to gravitate towards Citizen, Scout, or Entertainer.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Bipedal, mammals. Six arms. Hair is actually made of spine tight fur quills.
All Tsimette possess six breasts, arranged vertically in two rows of three.
Genetics and Reproduction
Tsimette have a three-sexed reproduction system in which one sex is a small parasitic organism that lives in nutrient pools beneath the surface of the Tsimette home world.
Sipha: the "default" sex of all Tsimette. Unaltered Tsimette who are not Chikki are Sipha.
Chikki: a small, hairless swimming mammal that seeks to parasitically attach to a Sipha. Once this happens, they enable the third sex.
Ipsik: the third and final sex, which occurs when a Chikki and Sipha unite. The parasite fails and flips a genetic switch which enables the Ipsik to fertilize Sipha individuals. Sipha and Ipsik are the only sexes capable of reproducing. The Sipha is always impregnated. The Ipsik always provides genetic material.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Tsimette are capable of eating both meats and plant-based food, but their guts require the consumption of 'grinding stones' regardless of which one they eat.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Tsimette have a second pair of eyelids which slip over their eyes when they are under water, enabling them to see.
Their forward pair of hands are capable of detecting air changes much like antennae are. Sensitive digits enable Tsimette to experience heightened perception when they are holding weapons in these hands, as their alert senses go towards keeping the weapon accurate.
