Cheesy Bun Food Bars

If you're a super who has to go into space or to another planet, or just another country, the CB Food Bars are fantastic. They're the only high-calorie bar that actually tastes good. They've also got a ton of allergy-friendly options. They store reasonably well, and they're a reliable food source.

But, Why No Cheese?

Blame the company. They used to be a dairy company, with an exceptionally boring name, but some jerk stole the majority of their cows and they kind of had to start over. The company lead went a little nuts and went through Initialization as an adult, which isn't the ideal situation.
It did lead him to a need in the market. It's not always, but Enhanced people tend to need a higher caloric intake than your average human, especially those dealing in the more physical abilities. Once this guy became one of them, he decided to develop a handy food source that heroes could carry with them.
And then he got kidnapped by aliens.

Serious Allergy Concerns

There are a surprising number of foods that we humans can just eat, out there on other planets. There's also a lot that we can't, and while we have developed a list of safe foods, back then, this guy did not have much luck and almost died of food poisoning from people who were trying to help him.
Two things resulted from this experience. First, mister Cheesy Bun got access to a whole bunch of ingredients not available on Earth. He also found another niche in the market: foods that you can be sure you can eat if you're kidnapped by aliens.
After forty years or so, he actually even managed to make them taste good.
