January 7th - Take 1
This day marked the first of several perplexing losses. In order to solve the problem of exiting the facility, I attempted to create a phase shifter. It only ever worked for a few seconds every hour or so of charge, but that's enough to get you through a wall if you really need to.
And sure, it wasn't really my technology in the first place but rather adapted from someone else's tech, but that I was able to backwards engineer even a little of it that quickly is a little impressive, right?
Overall it wasn't stable enough to be useful for the heist (probably because I only spent about a day working on it properly), but I had made plans to store it and work on it again at a later date. Being incorporeal is a useful thing for people who like to rob banks (my record is 64 physical banks in 24 hours). I also really hated that I lost it.
January 7th - Take 2
Becoming incorporeal was still out of my reach, but I was able to fake it with the help of some cheap magic tricks, and I was able to learn more about the lab while I knew my other self was occupied dealing with the phasing device. Those scientists were really, really gullible. Most of them are, if you catch them outside their chosen area of expertise.
