She’s got a bit of that confidence as well because she can keep up with most of this stuff. She has power too. But she’s less secure in who she is, with the weird power dynamic between her and Ruby (her only friend), and with her parents in such a weird position of authority over her but not Ruby but also yes but also sometimes in the field it’s Evelyn in charge so… Yeah.
Her flaw is probably a little too much restraint, a little too much common sense. She’s using it as a crutch. A bit of a Susan, using logic and sensible practices to control the world around her. It’s an artificial calm, though, which makes it prone to snapping at the wrong moments.
Personality Quirks
She’s an old biddy of a teenager so most of the time she’s going to be Evelyn. We’ll see if anyone else starts to call her by another nickname as she makes more friends. She wouldn’t mind the nickname, she just doesn’t come across as someone who needs one. On very rare occasions her mother and father use Evie.
Ruby is the only one to use E. Born out of her almost using Evelyn’s name in public when they were younger. Now she’s better about that, which is good because she uses E enough that it would be noticeable. It comes out when she’s feeling particularly friendly, or if she’s rushing through something.
