Public education through sophomore year in regular public high school. A certain event led him to take his education elsewhere and attend CARE.
Employment
Before arriving at CARE, Korryn worked at the local plant nursery in Vanreno for a whole summer in order to save up for a plane ticket out of his hometown, known as Josie Gardens.
Accomplishments & Achievements
One of Korryn's greatest achievements is finding the courage to change their situation and leaving their home in Vanreno. Though it set a precedent for wanting to jump ship when things went bad at CARE, they are beginning to recognize their capabilities as well as the much more supportive environment that CARE has to provide. Another was making friends with Deryn. Though their friendship is struggling right now, their ability to become friends in the first place was great strides towards conquering his fear of heat.

Korryn continuously succumbs to the stress of being a CARE student when he is not in battle. Oftentimes, he bursts out in anger and frustration. The first of which

Korryn absorbs himself in book knowledge though they also have an innate flow state which arises when they are in battle. Their knowledge from books are to aid in the possibilities and versatilities of their power. They research constantly on types of plants to have at hand and has seven notebooks completely full of hand-written notes.
