Beacon Sunstones

An enormous sunstone roughly 5 feet in diameter, the beacon sunstones are the magical hearts of most countries. Each beacon sunstone holds enough magic to power any spell for decades while still giving power to anyone who seeks it.
Generally, they are used as anchor points for kingdom-wide magical workings such as protection spells or replenishment spells. But they can also be used by people seeking to become The Exalted. To do so, an individual must spend 1 hour in meditation with the beacon sunstone, provided said individual has spent some time "tempering" their current abilities ahead of time. In this case, tempering often means using abilities in combat.
You may only use a specific beacon sunstone for this purpose once. Afterwards, while the beacon sunstone will still provide you power for magical workings, it cannot be used to gather additional personal power or abilities.
