Goliaths

Goliaths are commonly believed to have descended from giants, though most scholars and mages consider giants to be entirely mythical creatures.

Whatever they're descended from, goliaths are significantly larger than other races, often growing between 8 and 10 feet tall. Despite their size, goliaths are considered to be adept sailors, often raiding the northern coasts of the kingdoms surrounding the Adair Clanhome.

They are a matriarchal culture, following ancestor worship rather than the Auguries of the Divine. Because of this, Goliaths tend to keep to themselves, and rarely interact peacefully with the other races save in rare instances for trading purposes.
