The Dunfor Forest is a large ancient forest located in the North East of The Slatovian Empire.
Dunfor Forest is mostly deserted by man. This is due to the local folk believing that an evil spirit lays claim on the forest.

Geography
The Dunfor Forest is mainly made up of large pine trees with some maple and oak trees scattered around. The terrain is very hilly with many small mountains and cliffs being found on the Western side of the forest.
Fauna & Flora
The floor of the forest has many fern plants and drab coloured flowers.
The Dunfor Forest is eerily lifeless at times. In some places of the forest it is completely silent. No birds chirping, no Elk screeching - only the sound of the wind howling can be heard. Some Slatovians have said they can hear whispering on the wind in certain places in the forest. Despite the desolate feeling in the forest, it is home to Grey Wolves, Elk, many birds, and even a few bandits who are on the run from the law.

Natural Resources
There are a few abandoned iron and bronze mines within the forest. These mines were abandoned as the miners believe that the forest harbours a bad forest spirit
