Eminence Gwion Mordrel

His Eminence Gwion Mordrel is ruler of Shoaland. He is a great mage and resides in the capital, Másia. Gwion devotes himself to the research of arcane knowledge and the search for magical items. He rules with advice from his Magi Council and is quite detached from his people, with his main focus being arcane matters of magic. As a result, he holds a lot less power than he thinks, with regional leaders having a lot more sway and authority at least within their own locations.  Gwion became the Eminence after proving himself the most powerful in the Magi Trials. Gwion is a tall, lanky man with sunken cheeks, black, shoulder hair, green eyes, and olive skin that has faded to pale due to lack of sunlight.  He has a long, sharp nose with thin, pursed lips. His long, delicate fingers descriptively sketch our magic sigils and runes absentmindedly while he talks. He wears heavy brocade robes stitched with magic runes and shoes with a curl at the toe as in the fashion with mages in Shoaland.
