Shoaland is ruled by his Eminence Gwion Mordrel. It is a magocracy- run by mages. Shoaland is a relatively flat country, with hot, dry summers, and warm, wet winters. The country has some tropical forests to the very north, where is it hot and humid. It has large plains, used for herding by different tribes. A large proportion of the population is herding nomads, ranging across the plains. It's not a particularly populous nation, and its people are spread across the country except for a more concentrated settlement in and around Másia.
Shoaloand has treaties with both the See of Frelor and Kingdom of Asturg, and good diplomatic relations with both. It has no affiliation with Drauk though, as they are regularly raided by clans from Drauk. There are regular skirmishes between the two countries.
