The village of Hislen comprises a large collection of wooden structures built within the trees. Even beneath the thick canopy of the woods, the area is often bright and colorful due to a heightened level of magic.
Border Control
The villages of the Witlan gnomes are heavily protected by magical enchantment. Those who try to find their way in, include gnomes, can only due so if the border patrollers permit them at the time of entry. In the case of an emergency where the border patrollers are incapable of granting entry, a select few are permitted homing rods. These act as keys to bypass the enchantment on the village.History
