Black Ruins

The waters near Blackridgepool, and the source of the areas name

Geography

Blackwater, and Black Ruins are areas near Blackridgepool . The ocean in these parts appears to be unfathomably deep. The explorers from Blackridgepool have yet to find the bottom; any equipment they send down disappears before it reaches the bottom.
The ocean currents funnel directly through Black Ruins, before heading towards Blackwater. As a result, a lot of different goods wind up in Black Ruins. The denizens of Blackridgepool believe that Wandermere's Ring Gate will eventually wash up into the shallows of Black Ruins.
