Immovable Rod

Space bending magic allows this artifact to work, and hold its self in place.
Midway up the rod is a small circular button; this button works as a toggle. Pressing the button will turn the rod "on" and set it as immovable -- the rod will remain in that exact place, not even gravity can move it.
Pressing the button once more will allow physics to once again exert its power over the rod.
