Pantheon of Performers
The Pantheon of Performers is a group of gods and goddesses who have created and watch over the means of artistic and creative expression. Although the term is colloquially understood to be performance art like poetry and song, the Pantheon also includes art, books, and more besides.
Structure
Skolm, the God of Memories and Books, tries to lead and organize his fellow members. It was the logical decision, he argues, given that so long as any mortal remembers what they did, he has as much insight into the creative work as the god whose domain governs it, and therefore has oversight into everyone elses work.
Culture
Because of the generally free spirited nature of it's members, Skolm's attempt to lead the Pantheon of Performers is trying to manage the unmanageable. They are amenable to cooperation with each other, but none want to be governed or lectured by another.
Public Agenda
The gods in this pantheon generally want nothing more than to allow for the complete and free expression of thought, both in creativity and in every day expression. As such, they tend to also be advocates of peace and diplomacy, as war and violence tends to distract from these efforts. On the other hand, depictions of the cruelty of war and heroes in battles have created some of the greatest tales, songs, and pieces of art in T'sara, so they are not entirely opposed .
History
This collection of Gods and Goddesses have been worshipped as a pantheon since the Lost Age. When and where the worship began, or even which of the gods created their aspects first is unclear. Physical places for worship was uncommon at that time, and it wouldn't be until the First Age, where the world became more harsh and the Gods became more physically and emotionally distant form mortals, that physical buildings were built.
