The Absolved
A fringe group of Drow heretics. Forsaken their subterenean lives and the eternal conflict with Elves and the other races, they believe their Matriarch, Khilgana, was spoken to directly by the Goddess of the Elves. They would be forgiven or "absolved" of their acenstral wrongs, if they could become accepted by their Elvish cousins. It has become their mission to change the global perception of their kind, and to hopefully recruit and convert the remaining Drow diaspora in T'sara to join them.
Divine Origins
Khilgana, choosing to surrender herself and her soldiers to the Elves during the Triumverate War, had made a unique choice among the Drow commanders, and in so doing, was given rare persepective. Allowing herself to doubt the hegemony of her upbringing, she would in turn allow for a rare voice. The God of the Elves herself spoke to Khilgana, showing her that her teachings had in fact been a lie, but that she and her soldiers were forgiven and would be accepted as the Elves they still were by birthright, if they could prove it by making amends.
Being political prisoners, this group, calling themselves the Absolved, would commit themselves to righting the wrongs of the past war, and making themselves acceptable in the eyes of the Elves. More importantly, they would be charged with converting any and all of their fellow Drow to turn away from their lies and false God, and rejoin their true heritage.

Tenets of Faith
Despite their name, all of the Absolved are indeed highly repentant. The only way they may rejoin the Elves is forgiveness, and the only way they think they can be forgiven for centuries of crimes and being a beligerent in a global war, is doing good works in the world to prove their intentions and to offset all of the wrong that was done. They reject the beliefs of their kin, and are full worshippers of the true god of the elves. They believe that no sentient being is inherently bad or good, but a product of what they are taught. All beings are given a second chance, if they show willingness to take it.
