Jubilaeon

How is it made?

The Jubilaeon, like every other building and vehicle made by the Degraded, uses the aeon ash tree as its prime material. However, it is more sophisticated and sturdier than an ash armor. It uses multiple plank layers to protect the building against every threat of the marsh, not just against the temporal vortex. It also features several doors that are used to park part of the ash armor within the building so that people can step outside of their vehicles and step inside the building immediately without fear of being caught up by a vortex. Unlike a regular ash armor, the inside of the Jubilaeon is decorated with lots of ornaments the people donate to this place to elevate its importance to the community.

What are its defenses?

There aren't any. Other than the Degraded, nobody is venturing so deep into the swamp. The building's doors are open when it is not used, so the beasts and monsters of the marsh can freely move inside and cause less damage to it.

Inside of a Jubilaeon

The majority of the building is used for the common room. There is a place reserved for musicians. There are a couple of smaller rooms in case someone wants to have a private conversation. Food is not prepared within the Jubilaeon but brought to the festivals from the cookhouses. Nobody wants to smell the smoke and stink and spoil their joy.

What is it used for?

As its name suggests, the Jubilaeon is used for festivities, entertainment, and parties. There are regular events that are held every year but if someone wants to throw a party, usually many will join. Their regular events are their yearly party respecting their current Guide, a similar but more formal and less joyous festival in reverence to their first Guide, Purmenus, and celebrating the newborns. Sometimes, they commemorate the Savior Gods, too, but the Degraded are not unified in their opinion of them. They were the ones who closed Tacillia from Absence, their greatest tragedy, but they should have acted quicker.
The Degraded are strange people. Many people see them as weak and fragile, but I have seen only strength when I was among them
