Synkomidi

The Calderas harvest.

Synkomidi is a large city situated along the inside rim of a caldera. The city was originally founded when a town was destroyed during the Calamity. The refugees, after fleeing from the destruction, sought refuge in this caldera and founded a small community for the survivors of nearby towns and cities that were destroyed. After the cataclysm had ended, karametra the Theran goddess of harvest was impressed at the thoughtfulness of these mortals in a time of peril, she bestowed them a gift in the form of a great pomegranate tree, that once planted, grew incredibly large and made the soil around it incredibly fertile.
