Reshari
The Reshari are race of humanoid cat-folk found throughout northern and central Vraelia. Lacking a land or kingdom of their own, the Reshari are commonly found living within scattered strongholds, or among the other settled peoples in the region, and frequently travel between these mostly separate communities. Throughout Vraelia (and even some of the lands beyond), the Reshari have become renowned for their skill as traders and navigators of the deserts (with Reshari caravans being frequent sites within their home regions), as well as for their appreciation for an interesting story.

Biological Traits
While there are many traits shared among their kind, the Reshari are split into two groups:
Makha'ri: The most common and widespread subgroup, found throughout central Vraelia, as well as some parts of northern Vraelia. Resemble various smaller cats, with a wide range of physical traits. Are often found living in encampments, strongholds, or among the other local settled peoples, and frequently travel between these communities for the purposes of trading goods and supplies.
Rau'gir: A subgroup commonly found throughout northern Vraelia. Resemble lions, and have a taller, stronger build than their Makha'ri cousins. While they can sometimes be found living among the other peoples of northern Vraelia, they are most commonly found living in tribes scattered throughout northern Vraelia, and don't often travel between them with the same frequency as the Makha'ri. Despite this, it's not uncommon to see a Rau'gir serving as a caravan guard for a Makha'ri caravan.

The Reshari lack a united nation like most of the others peoples of Taeva, instead living in numerous scattered communities throughout most of Vraelia, which has had a number of effects on their way of life. Firstly, the it's made the Reshari a very communal people, with all members of a clan having close ties to one another, and being ready and willing to aid their clan-mates in whatever way they can. Additionally, as a result of their frequent travelling between their communities for the purposes of exchanging resources, the Reshari have become semi-nomadic, forming very few attachments to their current surroundings, and being ready to move at a moments notice.
Another facet of Reshari culture is their deep appreciation for storytelling. Every Reshari clan and subspecies has their own method of recording the history and accomplishments of their kin, from the ceremonial mane ornaments of the Rau'gir, to the intricately detailed tapestries of the Makha'ri, to the rich oral tradition shared between the two. This appreciation for a good story, combined with their nomadic tendencies, has also resulted in many Reshari having an adventurous spirit, always seeking out new stories to share with their clans.
