Xyden (Zai-den)
The Aetherial
Xyden is a member of the Elari, a group of divine beings formed by the Creator at the dawn of time to act as stewards over the fundamental forces of Creation. As the Elari of Aether, Xyden is responsible for maintaining the stable flow of Aether, the energy that fuels magic, throughout Creation, as well as maintaining the stability of the cosmos and safeguarding knowledge, and is responsible for creating both the Arcanai and the Dragons to aid them in these endeavours. Xyden is revered among the mortal races of Taeva as the embodiment of knowledge, and they are especially revered by mages as the source of all magic.

Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Xyden has a tall, lean humanoid body covered in plates of solid starlight.
Body Features
Xydens body is made entirely from Aether, and is blueish-purple in colour with faint pinpricks of white light periodically fading in and out (effectively making him resemble a humanoid window into the cosmos). He also has plates of solidified starlight covering some of his body (mainly the chest and arms), and his lower body is robe-like in appearance.
Facial Features
Xydens face is covered by a mask made from solidified starlight, with a mix of draconic and owl-like features, and light blue eyeholes that can shift in expression like an organic face. Additionally, there is a mass of Aether emerging from the back of their head in a manner similar to hair.
Identifying Characteristics
Besides their astral body, Xyden is identified by the large pair of feathered Dragon wings extending from his back.
Special abilities
As the Elari of Aether, and thus the origin of all magic, Xyden is considered to the the most powerful magic user in all of Creation, capable of using every spell known to Mortalkind at their most powerful, creating Aether constructs, summoning Arcanai to their position, and controlling the Aether in the surrounding area (including depriving spellcasters from using magic in their presence). Additionally, Xyden possesses a number of spatial abilities (including teleportation, creating planar rifts and pocket dimensions, and altering the space around himself and others), and even a few time-based abilities (creating "bubbles" of frozen time, delaying the effects of actions, heightening their reactions by altering their perception of time, and the ability to look into the past/possible futures). Due to their nature as a divine being, these abilities aren't limited by Aether like it would be for mortal mages, allowing him to use them freely.
Apparel & Accessories
Xydens body resembles a robe, like those typically worn by mages, with armour-like plates of "calcified starlight" covering his chest and arms. Additionally, they are said to have an alternate form where their rode-like lower half is replaced with a pair of taloned legs covered by the same plates of hardened starlight, though like Khoris, this depiction is limited to stories of the Ordering of early Creation.
Specialized Equipment
Xyden is typically seen empty handed, thanks to his usage of magic, though he can manifest any tool/weapon made from Aether he feels is best for the current situation, with a preference for staves.

Morality & Philosophy
As the Elari of Aether and Magic, Xyden believes in the cultivation and safekeeping of knowledge, and using it for the betterment of all.
Taboos
While Xyden values the cultivation of knowledge, they are opposed to the use of knowledge that can cause widespread harm. However, they are also opposed to the destruction of any form of knowledge, prefering instead to contain it where it can't cause harm (mainly within the innermost sanctum of their realm).
