Brimstone Assembly

The Brimstone Assembly has its roots in the bustling and smoke-filled foundries of Callintem, where the air is thick with the smell of molten metal. As the city's dependence on the iron and metal trade grew, so did the need for an organization that represented the interests of those working within this harsh environment.   Established over two centuries ago, the Brimstone Assembly was initially a response to the challenging working conditions of the ore district. Its founders were metallurgists and workers who understood the hardships and hazards of their labor, and aimed to ensure better conditions and fairer wages.   The Assembly's influence expanded as Callintem's metallurgical industry flourished. Their primary role was to negotiate work contracts and safeguard the rights of their members. Additionally, they played an essential role in coordinating with miners in the northern regions, ensuring a steady supply of iron and other essential ores.   Currently, the Brimstone Assembly has immense political clout in Callintem, holding a significant say in matters concerning industry and trade. Their primary turf is the city's bustling ore district, but their influence extends throughout the city and beyond. Their Navirdi-born Guild Master, Tha̯nnús Ma̯thúng, regularly expands the reach of the organization by making new ties and standing in solidarity with groups of craftspeople all over Draksineon.   Membership in the Assembly is often passed down through generations, leading to a demographic that is deeply rooted in the city. However, newcomers who prove their dedication to the industry can also be welcomed in, adding a diverse and dynamic element to the Assembly's ranks.
