The Soothing Laughter/The Night Weaver
Titles -
This God is a combination of two Origin Gods the first half's given name is Sinhavit and its second half is Lunelsin. "The Soothing Laughter" or Sinhavit is the Origin God of the Fire. It is the caretaker of the Elemental Plane of Fire and is part of the Primordial Four who each oversee an elemental plane. "The Night Weaver" or Lunelsin is the Origin God of the Night and the Moon. Usually when referring to this God "The Soothing Laughter" is the preferred way.Apearance -
Unlike many of the Origin Gods "The Soothing Laughter" has a base physical form. This comes from the fact that when these two Gods were combined, The Primordial God had to give them a specific singular vessel to support their duality of power. This vessel takes the form of a 4 headed hydra 2 with red eyes and fire and 2 with blue eyes and lunar orbs orbiting the upper necks. These heads and necks are detachable from the main body and sometimes are depicted as a snake-like representation of each half.History -
The history of these two Gods is known to the world because of an ancient speech by "The Lumbering Speaker" (the Origin God of the Wind) at Origin Summit at about -500 BO. The Goddess said that Sinhavit was created at the beginning of the world by the Primordial God just like her to be a caretaker of an elemental plane, fire in Sinhavit's case, but "The Night Weaver" was not created in the beginning. She said that the day and night cycle of the mortal plane was controlled by “The Leaking Bowl” (the Origin God of the Sun) but that long ago an extremely strong wild magic instance occurred causing Helevron to forget a piece of himself. This piece of himself manifested as an object that came off the sun and it floated to a different orbit along the sky. The mud people below would call this object the Moon. But since “The Leaking Bowl” forgot that he was supposed to move the day into the night, the world would become an eternal day unless someone else moved the night. After ten days of constant days of scorching sun the mud people sent cries to the heavens to find an answer. Their cries were returned by the moon telling them that she wanted to move the night but couldn't because she was too weak without a real form. After much discussion in the heavens The Primordial God gave this manifestation of the moon a name Lunelsinn and pronounced her the Goddess of Night and Moon. But in order to give her a body to move the night The Primordial God chose an Origin God partner for her soul. He chose "The Soothing Laughter" to be her partner for unknown reasons and he said that he would make a body for them that was strong enough to move the night and to share. The Primordial God would then fuse them together in a hydra-like body starting with two heads. He would tell them that this body is like any hydra if one head comes off two more appear but that if this body grew eight heads they would both die in one day. During the final battle of the Origin War both of "The Lumbering Speaker"s heads came off and the total number of heads grew to four.General -
"The Soothing Laughter" is called by this title because it is said that during conversation both halfs could laugh in such a way that is dangerous and scary like fire but magically soothing like the moon. "The Night Weaver" is called by this title simply because she creates the night after the day. While being two separate entities, the parts of "The Soothing Laughter" usually get along and each carry out their duties together. They both live in and care for the Elemental Plane of Fire while at the end of every day laugh into the World Tree to start the night.
