The Shroud

Geography

The peaks of The Shroud stretch past Aludel's borders both to the north and the south. What would be a nearly impenetrable barrier is broken in the north by a gap a few kilometers wide.

Fauna & Flora

Many dangerous beasts live in the mountains highest peaks, though few plants grow above a certain elevation there are still plenty of mountain goats and other similar animals that can survive on very little but harsh shrubbery.

Natural Resources

The Shroud is filled with pockets of minerals and ores and has been the main focus of mining operations in Aludel for years.
