The Tribes of Ogralon
Structure
The Tribes of Ogralon are run by whichever Orc tribe currently has control. Orcs are violent and judge their leaders based on strength. A strong leader keeps his tribe at the top, or takes the top spot from a weaker leader.
Public Agenda
The Tribes of Ogralon are forcing their way into Aludel, slowly attempting to take the lands from those living there.
Assets
Though there isn't much in the way of resources in Ogralon, there are plenty of crude metals that are easily forged into weapons and armor, and there is no lack of dangerous beasts for the armies to tame.
History
Ever since Ogral's defeat at the Battle of Aludel, the denizens of Ogralon struggled to survive in the parched and empty landscape beyond The Shroud. That failure, five hundred years ago, has been hammered into the culture of all the beastly races of Ogralon to the point where many of them simply hate humans, elves, and the other humanoids who fought against them, without a thought as to why.
Without their leader to rally behind the Orc Tribes (whose members far outnumbered the other races) quickly began dividing up the land available through bloody conflict. It was not until Dura of The Shattered Spear Tribe that some semblance of organization began to find its way back into Ogralon. Dura, an Orog who had recently usurped the leader of The Shattered Spear tribe, began to conquest through the other tribes. She believed herself chosen by the Orc Pantheon, and Kranja in particular. Her faith proved to be the push needed to unite the Tribes and one by one, each leader bent the knee before her.
Since Dura, every year, the Orc Tribes come together to decide who will be the next leader in the Trial of Shattered Stone. Whoever emerges victories is declared to have the favour of the gods and is granted leadership of the Tribes until the next Trial.
