Fury of the Tempest
A cryptic, powerful old-faith entity that cares for none save the natural order of the world and his deity.
"Whoosh is... the most active of the Caretaker's Thralls. This activity is, of course, incredibly inconvenient for most of us. Not like I've ever met him, I'm just going off of what I've heard..."
Colloquially known as 'Whoosh', Fury of the Tempest is Oisin's Thrall of wrath, natural disasters, and storms. He governs the domains of the harshness of nature and is sometimes referred to as 'Nature's Wrath'. As of 1067 T.B., it is believed he has been more active in the world within the last two decades. In the modern day, he has taken on a twisted role somewhat akin to a mentor to the young Alminar Cranellis.
Brandalus Grantchester, c. 1060 T.B.
Appearance and Characteristics
Whoosh is most often depicted as a tall and gangly humanoid figure with the naked torso of a man, legs of a deer, and antlers of a stag. His face is that of a 'stretched' elf: extremely angular to a nearly uncomfortable extent. Whorls of poison ivy wrap up and around his body, creating a collar of leaves around his neck. In this typical physical form, he stands at roughly 7' tall with arms that are proportionally too long. His face is most often twisted by a deep frown and his grin is unabashedly wicked. Additionally, Whoosh is known to have the ability to shift forms to those of giant primordial elementals.Abilities
Primordial Shifting
Whoosh has the ability to shapeshift into myriad primordial forms. By channeling elemental power, he can take on the forms of Fire, Air, Water, and Earth elementals. It is speculated that there may be more forms as well. The primordial forms are only controllable by Whoosh and wield extreme destructive power.Weather Control
Whoosh is able to control all aspects of the weather. He is most powerful when controlling the wind, able to create 100-mph currents of air in a fraction of a second. By unleashing a substantial bank of power, it is believed that Whoosh can begin tornadoes, hurricanes, and possibly other forms of natural disasters.
