If done properly the caster can focus their internal spirit energies outward to form a solid barrier allowing the caster an advantage both offensively and defensively depending on the caster's skill level and the particular situation

Side/Secondary Effects

Prolong use of a barrier drains a caster's internal spirit energies much faster than other methods of spirit wielding and can drain much faster depending on the force it is blocking or how long it is in effect

Manifestation

Appears as a solid wall of light the color of the caster's spirit energy but can vary in both size and shape, the key feature of a barrier is the fact that only a spirit wielder can visibly see the barrier while it is in effect but others have been rumored to have witnessed the barriers of past knights but no conclusive proof has come forward
