Princess Flarëum Volucrignis Saltreef (a.k.a. Firebird)
Information
Flarëum is the adopted daughter of King of the Rebellion, Oromis Saltreef and his wife, Queen Hermanerya Laexes. Hermanerya could not bear children of her own despite her desire for one and they needed a heir.Flarëum's parents, when she was just a baby, had to cross the borders between the empire and the rebellion. She was born with arcane power through her veins, something the empire wasn't particularly fond of and so they had to leave. Kappamund Kippowrath, who was then young, found the parents with the baby soaked in freezing water after crossing a river. He lead them with the other refugees but the baby grew weak from the cold. And for a moment, its heart stopped, but not for long. Her phoenix spark flared, swift and brightly and set the place ablaze. In the end, she was one of the few to survive amids the burning flames although they forever scarred her, physically and mentally.
Flarëum was raised strickly by her adoptive mother who just wished for her to learn to controll her powers. As a young girl, she looked hideous, covered in burns, cruel reminders of the time her phoenix spark flashed and whatever part of her could be seen through the scares looked frankly boring and uninteresting. But Flarëum could not bear this. And so, as time passed, Flarëum saught attention and validation from whatever place she could get it, usually men. She started dressing in extravagant, eye cartching clothing, dyed her hair bright red, like the flames she tries to tame, wore countless jewels of unimaginable wealth and wore heavy make up.
But Flarëum was a princess, she had duties to fulfill that she showed complete indiffernce. Of course that lead to the common folk and varyious lord to have doubts about her ruling qualities, since she showed none.
Oromis, right before he left for his campaign, named Flarëum his heir, although no formal ceremony was held. This, in colaboration with the way Flarëum presents herself and the fact that the royal line is of Merfolk and she is just human only heightened the hesitation people feel towards her and gave footing to those who feel the crown should be rightfully theirs.
Looks:
Flarëum looks striking from affar. Expensive fabrics fashioned in revealing clothes, gold and silver jewels adorned with red gems and precious stones and flaming red hair pulled up in an elaborate updo, it is realy hard to ignore her pressense. But underneath it all, she is just another normal girl. Average height and dark eyes.Appearances:
Flarëum once traveled with the Thorismund and his then party but when they passed through Herga Stella, (sosta?) she met her death by a wyrmling. Thorismund, in his dispair, prayed to the only person he was raised to pray to, Nicol Bolas himself, in hopes of bringing Flarëum back. The queen had entrusted him with the saftey of her daughter and he had failed her. His prayers tho, were weirdly enough answered.The party encountered Flarëum again on a rebellion camp and took her with them. There seemed to be one assassination attempt in her name that was sucessfully prevented. Yet again tho, they failed to protect her and she died alongside them in the fight with Alabaster, the white dragon.
After Karim used Decimus' powers and the wish spell tho, Flarëum was not there with them.
She was encountered once again in Dorn Thurim by Ailwyn who saw her speak with Valar Alqualira.

Flarëum, alongside her mother, were heard in an inn near Dorn Thurim by Divyll, who traveled with Farron.
