Magpie Wharf
The chief commercial port district in Glace, not a place one wants to be after sundown.
The North Novidia Company - The premier import/export company in all of Parabresium. The NNC’s fleet of ships travel far and wide to trade with other nations and bring wealth back to Parabresium. Despite the rise of the iron carriage, the NNC is still a powerful force, especially due to the limits of geography which no rail company can yet overcome.
Ivor Janes Shipping Company - A prominent trade company which deals primarily with moving goods up and down the eastern coast.
Idalia Day Shipwrights - The premier shipmaker in Glace, known for crafting the ships of the line of the Navy fleet, and for their current developments in iron hulled trade and naval ships.
Ellis Nicholls Imported Goods - A trade company seeking to carve into the North Novidia Company’s market, known for sailing to more dangerous and less explored environments in order to gain market share.
The Blind Narwhal Inn - The more reputable tavern in the district, where many captains and tradesmen gather to strike deals and sign contracts.
Portside Curiousities - A small yet intriguing shop of imported antiques and oddities. Difficult to see from the street, obscured along the back of an alley, perhaps intentionally? Olive Gourmelon, Proprietor.
Kast Le Boudec's Boathouse - An unassuming building which blends into the wall of warehouses, boat shacks, taverns, and fisheries which crowd the docks, this particular boathouse is frequented by Mr. Le Boudec and his associates, and few others.
Spinning Jenny Pub - One of many rough and tumble taverns in the district where sailors gather, notable for being one of the oldest standing, and for having good fish and chips.
Troke and Costen - A shipping company run by the named proprietors, known for shipping less desirable goods and taking whatever business Ivor Janes, North Novidia, and Ellis Nichols leave for scraps.
