Luzane Parrin is not the prettiest of women, although she may have once been stunning. Her long brown hair is prematurely showing hints of gray, and she wears make-up to hide the newly-developing wrinkles. In unguarded moments, she looks depressed.

Personal history

Luzane Parrin inherited her mine when her husband was found dead from a mining accident two years ago while scouting out a new site in the mountains north of Virdin. Since then, Gelch Tilgast began courting her almost immediately after the accident happened, and she suspects that the older mine manager may have had something to do with her husband's accident. Her mines have been in a steady decline since the accident, and she struggles to attract seasoned miners.
She is considering an alliance of sorts with Chaum Gansworth to stave off Tilgast. Interestingly enough, since the accident Ragnolin Dourstone has also reached out his hand to help Luzane. Most think he symapthizes with her due to the whole dwarven-clan thing, but something she can't pinpoint about Dourstone scares the daylights out of her. Gansworth may be her only chance at survival.
