Personal history

Ragolin Dourstone has been a mine owner since before the Bloodstone Wars. He bought the mine from Clan Hedelstone 40 years ago, when the Hedelstone mine collapsed. The Hedelstone's sold the mine at an profit rather than spend the resources to re-delve. When demons infested the Bloodstone Mines, Dourstone directed "his boys" to mine closest to the surface, in passages he guaranteed were "safe". The demons miraculously stayed away from the Dourstone Miners.

Ragnolin has used his funds to purchase many out of the way mining sites in the Galenas, and also has established a few mines in the wilds of Vaasa. Those mines are being run by other members of Clan Dourstone while Ragnolin concentrates on the family cash-cow.
