Shadow Lands

The Shadow Lands are similar in every way to Shadow Valley in underground Pennsylvania other than Shadow Lands encompasses a larger landmass and is located beneath the ice and rock of Antarctica.
Another "shadow ecosystem", the Shadow Lands boasts of unusual dinosaur-like creatures as well as a colony of Thanagarian "hawk people" - calling themselves Antargarians - who maintain a quiet, secret, existence there.
Currently the location has come under the notice of the United Nations Security Council due to an event that transpired there involving the infamous Dr. Teleios. At this time, the location is kept secret from the world at large save for some superhero organizations.
