Tucked away within the Sacred Forest of Gallia sits an special village split between the ground and the trees. 8 points is one of Gallia's most important villages and is the current home of the Counsel of the Trees , this land is owned and overseen by Clan Fairy Fire named after their use of the skill in the past war using it to foil a plan of the Empire that in turn saved the counsels life.

Demographics

Almost all of the population is made up of either wood elves or half wood elves.

Defences

Two large guard posts stand tall to the north and west, with two smaller lookout nests in the trees to the south and east.

Industry & Trade

While many villagers live off the land 8 points is home to some shop owners based around Gallia's most popular goods like fruits and silks. It is home to one fruit stand, one small silk shop, and a small tinker's shop.    

Infrastructure

All of the import buildings are built above in the highest trees of the forest rising up hundreds of feet. These buildings are connected by wooden bridges along with pathways and stairways along the largest of trees. Some of the buildings residing in the peaks of 8 points are the council chambers, the armory, a small treasury (mainly important documents and secrets ), along with the homes of clan Fairy Fire.

History

Almost everything important that anyone remembers about 8 points revolves around Tarneth more commonly known as the " Whisperer of the Woods " he is heralded as one of if not the most powerful Wood Elf mage ever, his magic ability to change the forest itself hence his nickname.

Architecture

Most homes on the ground are small and simple made from wood and resources of the forest with the exterior houses made of a slightly thicker stronger wood as they are the homes of the warrior and part of the defense of the village. The building above the trees come in two styles either large ornate buildings such as the homes of Clan Fairy Fire , the buildings are supported by large tree branches that seem to have grown for this very reason. The other style is like that of the council chambers where part of the tree is hollowed out without harming the tree this can only be done with the largest of Gallia's trees.

Geography

Built within Gallia's sacred forest the village is surrounded by grass and massive trees some reaching hundreds of feet tall.

Natural Resources

Anything that can be found from within the forest such as different types of woods, meats, furs, plant life from wildflowers to fruits, and much more.
