Anarr Firehelm, The Iron Mask

Anarr Firehelm has had an interesting life for a dwarf, to say the least, born to the 4th house Anarr always felt a disconnect from many of his peers as he always felt as if the other Houses looked down on his House. This feeling would grow and fester until turning into a young man when he made the shocking choice to leave Stonespine by himself he didn't have a plan or goal he just knew he needed to see what else Talos had to offer. Like anyone learning the world for the first time, he would struggle and stumble for a few years before joining a small adventuring group. Anarr grew close to this group traveling with them for many years the problems began when they came across a spellcaster who called herself the Blood Singer, they were no match for her the group lost one of its members and Anarr lost one of his hands in the escape. While broken the group stayed together leaning on each other Anarr had his missing hand replaced with a claw and rejoined the party but it would be less than two years before the group would dissolve. Deep within a tomb, each member was placed under an unbreaking spell that was both a blessing and a curse after this event plus the humans in the group aging past adventuring age the group went separate ways after the tomb. Anarr would travel alone for several years before being saved be a group of dwarf slayers trying to rejoin Stonespine. He would spend several years with them even changing his views on his fellow dwarves deciding to return back home with the group taking the trophies he's saved over the years he returned and was accepted rejoining his heart. However this new peace wouldn't last forever as like every family his was affected by the Seven Sorrows and now with the entire Kingdom under threat, Anarr would use his blessing and curse for the first time. These give Anarr the ability to shape metals with his mind alone bending them to his will and forging them into whatever form he desires without the need for tools or heat and with greater precision and results. This comes at a cost and for a dwarf, the cost is grave to use this ability Anarr loses his beard as it begins to fall out rapidly, a dwarf's beard is sacred to them causing great shame to be beardless. Even with this cost out of love for his family he told Eldaric Tunneldweller the Rune Kings advisor about his ability and has been put in charge of creating important weapons and items for the war effort. Anarr created himself a mask to wear when he is beardless to cover his face and shame but now due to his ability always being in need, he doesn't have time to let it grow leaving him to wear the mask constantly too ashamed to remove it any longer, gaining him the nickname the Iron Mask.
