Eldaric Tunneldweller

An aging Dwarf who seems to be getting on in his years but seems to be gaining only wisdom with age and still seems rather spry for his age. Eldaric was an advisor for Rune King Balin Deepdelver, he was the king's longest-lasting advisor often being sent on missions back and forth across Stonespine. It was on these very trips that he gained his most valuable knowledge as over all his years of serving he just about memorized every major tunnel of Stonespine a feat most dwarves would never dream of. After the passing of Rune King Balin Deepdelver Eldaric retired back to his hearth in the Third House where he stayed only leaving to visit friends and family. It stayed this way until the Seven Sorrows began as his knowledge of the tunnels was unmatched he set out and helped save many lives leading dwarves clear of danger. After the Seventh Sorrow Eldaric knew what he had to do he met with the new Rune King and became an advisor once again working tirelessly to help his people. After seeing Eldaric's dedication to the people the Rune King used his power in a state of emergency to give Eldaric the position of Chieftain of the Third House a spot that has sat vacant since the wars began. Those who know Eldaric would describe him as everyone's grandfather always checking in on those around him and seeing if he can help while wearing a brimming warm smile, though he can be rather blunt at times but you know his words come with love.
