Uriel Stormwoods hails from house Strongsands an ancient and studious noble Shalnaa family. Or so they would have had you believe you see the truth behind the family was much worse they were just a front a false family hiding how they conned and stole from those with nothing. His family rose to prominence not from wit but from stepping upon the backs of others, once Uriel and his brother Ramiel found out the truth of their family they began trying to make things right, their first step was changing their name from Strongsands to Stormwood. They compiled all the evidence they could and turned in their family to the former Watch Commander Frederick Farspear II, the boys thought this was the end of the tale but they were sorely mistaken as they stayed at a good friend's house during the raid on their home as they did their father had escaped and tracked them down. He broke into the house the boys were staying at and attacked them ferociously after a brutal struggle Uriel caved in his father's skull but not before he lost his own left hand and more importantly his brother Ramiel. After barely pulling through his recovery Uriel dedicated his life to helping those born into poverty he sold off everything his family owned giving every last coin away before joining the mage guild as a means to further his education. He learned everything he could over the next decade about laws and the governmental system to become the beacon of hope in the corruption that plagues some noble families to this day. During this time Uriel would go out and help feed the unfortunate every single day at noon and those that he helped would not forget him as the day he was nominated by Frederick Farspear II for Cheif Magistrate he won by the largest collection of popular votes seen in several decades. Since this moment he has stuck to his words and his goals making sure the law stays fair and judges everyone accordingly no matter of birth or status.
