Elmorine is a stone-like substance found within the Titan Realms, and was used in the construction of the Astrals weapons and armor before the rise of the gods.

Description

Elmorine is a smooth, semi-translucent stone with an appearance similar to Jade (specifically Jadeite). In it's natural form it is white and almost completely Translucent, but when used for construction it is almost always more opaque than in it's natural form and bares at least some color.
Which color the Elmorine takes when it is refined depends on the method used to refine it, with each color having it's own virtues, uses and cultural significance. Each color is manufactured by a different Astral tribe for its own unique purpose.
Gold
Gold Elmorine was manufactured by Sar'aan's people, the Sera'daan.
Properties Gold Elmorine conducts and amplifies elemental energy, and constructs made with it are often inlaid with other colors that generate or conduct specific elements. Many powerful Sera'daan tribesman were known to inscribe multiple different colors of Elmorine into their armor, using the gold Elmorine base to enhance the effects of multiple elemental abilities.

Cyan
Cyan Elmorine was manufactured by the Nal'drim tribe.
Properties Cyan Elmorine generates and amplifies frost-based elemental abilities.

Crimson
Crimson Elmorine was manufactured by the Mir'dred tribe.
Properties Crimson Elmorine generates and amplifies heat-based elemental abilities.

Ultramarine
Ultramarine Elmorine was manufactured by the Ula'suede tribe.
Properties Ultramarine Elmorine generates and amplifies lightning-based elemental abilities.

Uses

Elmorine was used by the Astrals to construct their arms and armor, and to forge the hearts of the Arcai, and later the Arcai'aan.

History

Elmorine has been a central component of Astral culture since before recorded history, long before Sar'aan came into being. As the first memories came to be with the ascension of Sar'aan, Elmorine would be elevated to even greater importance after it's use in the construction of Sar'aan's construct army, the Arcai.
