Description
The Church of Coin are followers of
Joaquin, the god of wealth. They primarily operate through investing in other factions and charging coin for divine spells and rituals.
Base of Operations
The church established a base in
Grod, believing in the town's potential for growth. They have connections all over
Gaes and may have other temples in major settlements.
Allegiances
Because they vie for similar trade agreements, the Church of Coin is locked in a fierce rivalry with
Grand Najis Venture. At times, the institutions have negotiated for their mutual benefit, but they have never been on friendly terms.

These acolytes run the church in Grod:
- Bellamy, the priest-in-training.
- Oarus, the spearman.
- Ragh, the priestess.
- Tormund, the head priest.
History
When
Kapital first visited Grod and were injured in a fight with one of
Chief GorGo's soldiers, the Church of Coin nursed them back to health for only a modest fee.
An hour before, the gladiator
Mai Hardoo and disgruntled actuaries from Grand Najis Venture left the church; they were negotiating with the church to buy Kapital out of its supply of
herowort, but the priests denied her request.
As retaliation, the gladiator snuck into the church and assassinated one of the other patients: an insurrectionist from
Gwaylar Vale, who previously freed slaves and sold them to
Garan Najis and GorGo.
