Description

The Emperor of the Waves was a Caspian pirate galleon that ran aground on the Drann River, in the eastern edge of Redgaard.

Inhabitants

While the minotaur captain became a vengeful spirit when he died, most of his crew mutated as they drowned in the contaminated river water, becoming sea dregs and haze husks.

History

The Emperor of the Waves was part of a Caspian pirate fleet that frequently smuggled delerium out of Redgaard. Its last mission, before it sank, was the delivery of valuables to the Queen's Men.
When Kapital sought the treasure on the partially-wrecked ship, they discovered that the priest Krell the Unholy had damned the crew by summoning a young kraken. With the ghost captain's aid, the group slew the priest and escaped with the shipment, before the thrashing sea monster dragged the galleon to the bottom of the river.
