Krell the Unholy

Krell the Unholy was a kraken priest who summoned a young kraken in the Drann River, causing the Emperor of the Waves to run aground and the crew to be changed forever by the Haze. The priest was killed, somewhat poetically, by the captain turned into a vengeful spirit and the crew turned into ravenous undead.

Description

Krell was a gaunt figure wrapped in robes dripping with seawater. He wore an intricate, barnacle-encrusted headdress with blinking eyestalks.

History

During the final mission of the Emperor of the Waves, the priest damned the crew by summoning a young kraken. When Kapital sought treasure on the partially-wrecked ship, with the ghost captain's aid, they bested the priest and tossed him belowdecks, where the sailors, mutated into ghouls, tore Krell limb from limb.
