Halorin Yandres is Lestheris Solderi's bodyguard and a member of the Grave Order.

Description

An elven man in life, Halorin now walks as an vampire warrior. Although he wears plate armor, Halorin moves with frightening silence and ease.

Personality

The second-in-command of his adventuring party, the undead warrior defers to Lestheris but, of the Grave Order's members, he seems to speak his mind most often.

Relationships

Lestheris often relies on his skill and judgement; hired by the Solderi family to protect her and other students from her emergent sorcerous powers, the warrior gradually bonded with the mage and now serves her willingly as a powerful undead.
He and Jedar Pike seem to disagree about which of them has more authority.

History

As a mageborn, Lestheris was sent by her wealthy family to apprentice with the mages of the Amethyst Academy. Since she was a sorceress, the threat of a magical surge endangered not only her life, but those of the other students; as customary, her family hired Halorin as Lestheris's bodyguard and her executioner, should her powers ever overwhelm her.
Sometime after Lestheris was expelled from the Amethyst Academy, Halorin mysteriously died and was raised as an undead, but not as a thrall.
When Kapital first carved their names into the Eckerman Mill, they had a chance encounter with the Grave Order. On Lestheris's command, Halorin dismissed invisiblity, revealing he had been standing behind the group during the entire conversation.
