Jedar Pike is a blood-mage and a member of the
Grave Order.
Description
Gray-skinned and wrapped in black robes, Jedar resembles a
human man, though his sunken eyes glow strangely and his right hand is stripped of flesh. His chest is branded with a golden mark of heresy, when he was excommunicated and sentenced to death by the
Church of the Sacred Flame.
Personality
Eerily quiet, he does not speak unless casting spells or deferring to
Lestheris Solderi.
Relationships
The Grave Order
He and
Halorin Yandres seem to disagree about which of them has more authority.
Enemies
Jedar harbored an intense grudge against Cecito, the man responsible for his "quenching," excommunication from the Church of the Sacred Flame, and death sentence.
History
Earlier in his life, when Jedar was a devout of the
Sacred Flame, he was accused of either apostacy or maleficence by Cecito of the
Candle Colony. As punishment, he was named a heretic, stripped of his ability to call upon divine magic, and sentenced to death.
When Kapital first carved their names into the side of the
Eckerman Mill, they had a chance encounter with the Grave Order. On Lestheris's command, Jedar channeled his black blood to cast
aid and bolster the group before their first delve into
Redgaard.
