grippoli. She wears earth-colored robes and a brilliant feathered headdress, as a mark of her station.
Personality
Regarded as a source of wisdom, guidance, and magic by her people, the Pondmother leads her village with soft-spoken words and stories of the
Brackwater Swamp's ancient history.
History
When the Pondmother was a young girl, she grew up hearing stories of the elusive
King Crab and its court of virtuous heroes.
When
Kapital freed the grippoli from the
Poisoned Cup's chains, the Pondmother was immensely grateful. Not only did she perform the
Rite of Friendship for the group responsible for saving her people, but she also agreed to trade food with the guild's burgeoning ranks in the
Caves of Chaos.
When a section of the swamp was corrupted and putrefied into the
Bonefields, the Pondmother was beseeched for aid by the
Court of the King Crab; unable to help herself, she petitioned her allies in Kapital for aid, hopeful that they could prevent the swamp from being forever changed.
