Chauxhalia of the Depths (Sha shale ee a)

Originally named Suoux by her triton parents she was part of an underwater community that relied on fishing and trading with surface dwellers.  Her entire town was attacked by Ixarion the Storm bringer and his army of sea giants and was completely destroyed.  As one of the few survivors she fled to the surface world at the age of nine.  She settled in the Points and joined several thieves guilds and was trained in their skills.  
After amassing a small fortune she bought a boat and hired a crew to begin life as a merchant on the Wyvern Sea.  It was at this time when the creature from the depths reached out to her.  A being of great power came to her and offered her it's gifts.  She accepted and became a powerful warlock.  Spending the next decade as a pirate she ran afoul of the Marid's bones several times.  After defeating their ships time and time again, one of the captains of the organization designed a trap for her and her crew in the Orix Chain.  Utilizing anti magic shards they cut her off from her source of power and destroyed her ship killing her crew.  Some how Suoux survived and made her way to Clastapool.  She spent the next few years recovering from her injuries and then entered local politics.  With her incredible charisma and the help of her patron she became a power player in the game of trade that dominates the Clastian Culture.  
Now she has seized the ring and rules over Clastapool defeating all challengers.  Now she is gathering strength through an intricate web of trade deals, magical artifacts, and shardrock.  What her ultimate goal is is unclear.  Is that goal hers or her patrons?
